Under the direction of Professor Andrew Sum and Professor Paul Harrington, the Center has conducted both sponsored and non-sponsored research on a diverse array of labor market, education, literacy, job training, human resource program, planning and evaluation, and family issues at the national, regional, state and local level. Among the recent studies undertaken by CLMS staff have been the following:
- The economic performance of the Northeast region during the 1990’s and the challenges it faces in the twenty-first century
